Para activar este complemento, seleccione <guiseq><gui style="menu">gedit</gui><gui> Preferencias</gui><gui>Complementos</gui><gui>Insertar fecha y hora</gui></guiseq>. Para usar el complemento, pulse <guiseq><gui style="menu">Editar</gui><gui>Insertar fecha y hora</gui></guiseq>.</p>

  <p>De manera predeterminada, el complemento <gui>Insertar fecha y hora</gui> le pedirá su formato de fecha y hora preferido cada vez que use el complemento. Sin embargo, puede seleccionar el formato de fecha y hora predeterminado seleccionando <guiseq><gui style="menu">gedit</gui><gui style="menuitem">Preferencias</gui> <gui>Complementos</gui><gui>Insertar fecha y horar</gui><gui>Configurar</gui></guiseq>.</p>
